While there are literally thousands of different models of binoculars on the market, not all are suitable for hunting. Unlike monoculars which is one small telescope and can only been seen through using one eye, binoculars is lke having two telescopes, one for each eye.

A few compact binoculars come filled with nitrogen and are waterproof. The waterproof models will be corrosion resistant and buoyant, not just repelling water from the lens.
When buying a telescope, look at your aspirations for owning a telescope, and what you want to get out of the telescope. Night vision binoculars are a must for anyone in a profession that requires secret night work.
